the location and floor plan Sofa was very comfortable lots of hot water love using a code instead of a key great that there were two bathrooms comfy bed well equipped kitchen

payment method was impersonal and unclear check in procedure was confusing they wanted me to download an app in order to upload my passport. kitchen sink stopped draining our last night there were no privacy blinds on the windows

This nice apartment is located in a lively neighborhood within walking distance of the center of Madrid.

A lot- central location, large space, friendly and responsive hosts ( they let us park our bags in the apartment early and responded quickly when I asked for some kitchen towels), fairly well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and groovy decorations.

minor things- the shower pan backed up while taking a shower, freezer needed defrosting(couldn’t open) and glass shelf in bathroom was unstable (loose fixtures). These things didn’t detract from our experience though.

It felt like home and was a great place to unwind after a long day!

location was great! About a 10-15 walk from Gran Via. The place was spacious for two and we enjoyed having a place to cook as well as wash some clothes! We also liked how we were able to unlock the doors with our phones. It was a cool feature

We wish we could have rolled down the window shades a bit more to block out the sun in the mornings. Other than that, everything was great!

Good apartment

1. The location is good. in the downtown area of Madrid. We went to most of the museums and sightseeing places by walk. (within 15 mins walking distance). For someplace far away, we took Uber and it will cost 6-7 EUR, which is very reasonable. 2. The apartment is apace and clean, if you would like to cook, most of the cooking facilities are provided. 3. There is a DIA supermarket located within 50 meters, very convenient. 4. Landlord provided a bottle of wine as a welcome gift, how sweet!

1. There is a church beside the apartment building, they will provide free food to the homeless and people who need free food. I believe it is the reason that there are always homeless people hanging in that area. They did not really bother me, however, seems there are not enough public washrooms in that area since it is an old city area. You can imagine the smell on the street is always not so good. 2. The apartment receptionist contacted me the day before check-in through WhatsApp and asked me to make the payment through a website link, which make me feel suspicious. So I refused and respond that I can make payment face to face when I check in. During check-in, the same receptionist come to the building lobby to meet me and I made the payment on a mobile POS, when the POS was printing the voucher, he stopped it and said it is out of battery (which I do not think so) and went somewhere upstairs and then bring a payment voucher back to me. Kind of weird, I guess, maybe they do not have a space for the reception or there is some tax benefit? Anyway, this makes the whole check-in process uncomfortable.
